Questions owners ask first

Does it really sell with no internet?

Yes. Every sale is written to a local ledger on the device and signed there. The till keeps selling for days; when the line is back the ledger syncs append-only, and a sale the server rejects is shown on the sync-issues screen, never hidden.

Is the ZATCA QR valid when the till is offline?

Yes. Phase-2 simplified invoices are signed on the till with the establishment's own key, so the QR on a receipt printed offline is the same QR a connected till prints. Reporting to ZATCA happens when the line is back, within the 24-hour window the regulation allows.

Which hardware do I need?

Any iPad, Windows or Android device, a Sunmi handheld, or a browser. ESC/POS LAN printers (Epson, Star), a cash drawer through the printer, HID or camera barcode scanners, and up to four card terminals per till. See the hardware page.

What does it cost?

Start 199, Grow 299 and Pro 449 SAR per branch per month on the annual term, ex-VAT, with a 14-day free trial. From 6 branches you get 15% off the whole invoice, from 21 branches 25%.

Do I need Basmtak HR or Books to use it?

No. Cashier stands alone. If you also have HR or Books, the punch and the journal work out of the box and the annual bundle starts at 159 per branch.

Can I move from my current POS?

Yes. The import reads Foodics, Rewaa and Loyverse exports and any Excel sheet, shows every row before it lands, and takes one session for most shops.
