1The service

Basmtak Cashier is a point-of-sale service provided as software: a till application for your devices, a back office, and the servers that sync, sign and report your sales. We provide it to businesses, not consumers.

2Your account and your branches

You register a business account (a tenant) and add branches, tills, devices and users. You are responsible for who you give a PIN, a badge or a password to, and for the devices you pair.

3Plans, trial and payment

Every plan is priced per branch per month, ex-VAT, on an annual or monthly term, with volume discounts on the whole invoice. The free trial runs 14 days with every feature and no card. After it, a plan is paid by card through our payment provider; the invoice is issued as a ZATCA tax invoice.

4E-invoicing

Cashier signs simplified invoices on your device with your establishment's certificate and reports or clears them with ZATCA on your behalf. You remain the taxpayer: keep your certificate, your VAT registration and your clock correct, and act on the sync-issues screen.

5Your data

Your sales, items, customers and employees are yours. We process them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy, and we do not sell them. You can export them and, on closing the account, ask for their deletion subject to the retention the regulation requires.

6Availability

We aim for continuous service and publish our status page. The till is built to sell when our servers or your internet are unreachable; we are not liable for losses caused by your devices, your network or your hardware.

7Acceptable use

Do not use the service to issue invoices for transactions that did not happen, to evade tax, or to process card numbers outside a certified terminal. We may suspend an account that does.

8Changes and termination

We may update these terms with notice on this page. You may cancel at any time from the back office; a paid term is not refunded, and your data remains exportable for the period we state in the privacy policy.

9Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
