# Basmtak Cashier (بصمتك كاشير)

> Basmtak Cashier is a point-of-sale (POS) system for restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets and pharmacies in Saudi Arabia. It keeps selling when the internet is down and prints a ZATCA e-invoice QR on every receipt. It is part of the Basmtak family with Basmtak HR (https://basmtak.com) and Basmtak Books accounting (https://books.basmtak.com).

## What it does

- Offline-first till: sales, payments and receipts keep working with no internet and sync when the connection returns.
- ZATCA e-invoicing: QR on every receipt, including offline sales.
- Restaurants and cafés: kitchen display screen, floor plans and tables, split bills, delivery-app orders in one kitchen queue, Ramadan mode.
- Retail: barcode-first selling, scales and price labels, batches and expiry dates, serial numbers and warranty, pharmacy RSD scanning, quotes and layaway.
- Catalogue and stock per branch, loyalty, multiple payment methods.
- Reports and insights per branch, shift and cashier.
- Accounting: every shift posts a journal entry to Basmtak Books.
- Team: cashiers clock in to Basmtak HR attendance when they sign in to the till.

- Does it work offline? Yes. Every sale is written and signed on the device; the till keeps selling for days and syncs when the connection returns.
- Does it do ZATCA e-invoicing phase 2? Yes: phase-2 simplified invoices are signed on the till, so a receipt printed offline carries the same QR, and they are reported to ZATCA's Fatoora platform when the connection is back.
- Which devices? iPad, Windows or Android devices, Mac, Sunmi handhelds, or a web browser, with ESC/POS network printers, cash drawers, barcode scanners and card terminals.
- Do I need Basmtak HR or Basmtak Books? No, Cashier stands alone; with them, cashiers clock in to HR and every shift posts to Books.
